Ingredients
- 31⁄4 cup flour
- 3⁄4 tsp salt
- 1⁄4 tsp baking soda
- 1⁄4 tsp baking powder
- 6 oz butter, softened
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 extra-large egg yolks
- 11⁄2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Sift together dry ingredients.
- Cream butter and cream cheese with sugar.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Add wet ingredients to dry and mix on slow speed until combined and dough comes together.
- Press dough into a big lump, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in fridge for a couple of hours or overnight.
- Roll out to a quarter-inch thick and cut out circles or whatever.
- Bake at 375 °F until light golden (which may be 15 minutes, or a different amount of time).
- Let cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack.
